The Kathmandu Valley is the historical centre of Nepal where art and culture are an integral part of daily life. Most of the Valley's population are Newar and you will experience the magnificent art and architecture that these traditional people have created.
Kathmandu Valley incorporates cities such as Kathmandu,Patan, Bhaktapur and  Thimi.  The valley is famous  for its pottery and crops such as rice, wheat, fruit and vegetables. The Valley has a temperate climate. Winter (between December and February) is cool during the day but nights can be quite cold. June to July is the monsoon season which is hot and humid. The weather is mostly pleasant at other times of the year.
