The following are recommendations only. Health conditions around the world are constantly changing, so keep informed and consult your local travel health clinic or Department of Foreign Affairs website, such as Australian government website . Medical decisions are the responsibility of each volunteer. Please consult your physician, Public Health Department, local Nepali consulate or the resources listed below for the latest health information for travelers.

The following are recommended for your protection:

  • Polio and Tetanus boosters
  • Japanese Encephalitis (certain areas)
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B (optional)
  • Meningitis
  • Rabies
  • Flu (seasonal and optional)

It is also recommended that you visit your dentist before you travel overseas.



Make a difference, become a volunteer. Teach subjects such as English, Craft, Community Health and Administration. Other possibilities could be discussed. We share experiences through volunteering and exchange programs.
